Youth Library Leaders
Throughout the program, participants will engage in interactive workshops, collaborate on activities and projects, explore volunteer and leadership opportunities, and gain hands-on experience that can help prepare them for future academic, volunteer, and employment endeavors. A key focus of the program is for participants to work together to plan and lead a Youth Week event or initiative. Youth Library Leaders will take an active role in brainstorming ideas, organizing activities, promoting their event, and bringing their vision to life. Through this experience, participants will gain practical skills in event planning, project management, collaboration, and community engagement. This program is designed for youth who are enthusiastic about learning, leading, and creating positive change in their community. Youth Library Leaders will receive volunteer hours for attending meetings and participating in program activities. Important: Participants must register for the program and commit to attending all scheduled sessions. As each session builds on the previous one and contributes to the planning and delivery of the Youth Week event or initiative, full attendance is required to ensure participants receive the complete learning experience and can fully contribute to the success of the project. Registration is required.
