EveryBody: An All-Abilities Day Program @ Sherwood

A weekly day program designed for every body and every ability , offering a dynamic, accessible experience that encourages self-expression, growth, and connection. Registration is for 12 weeks (September 17 - December 3) through The Special Friends Network. Participants will explore a variety of creative activities, including crafts, maker projects, and mixed-media art, in a welcoming, judgment-free environment. Designed for people of all abilities, the program emphasizes creativity, choice, and the joy of making while encouraging participants to learn new skills and express themselves in their own unique way. EveryBody Explore invites participants to discover the world through hands-on learning, curiosity, and shared experiences. Each session explores a different topic, from science and nature to history, culture, and community, through engaging activities, demonstrations and discussions. Designed for people of all abilities, the program encourages participants to ask questions, make connections, and explore new ideas in an accessible, welcoming environment where everyone can learn at their own pace. makes technology approachable and accessible for everyone. EveryBody Book Club invites participants to explore a variety of reading materials, including fiction, nonfiction, short stories, excerpts, and themed selections. Each session includes reading and discussion of a shared text, followed by related activities. Designed for people of all abilities, the program focuses on shared reading experiences, conversation, and connecting with stories and ideas in a welcoming, inclusive environment. EveryBody Wellness: Zumba invites participants to move, dance, and have fun in an energizing and inclusive fitness experience. Set to upbeat music, this class combines simple, accessible choreography with low-pressure movement that can be adapted for all abilities and fitness levels.
